Come Celebrate the Season with Longaberger on November 14th at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel was a fantastic gala. The event was scheduled to open at 12:30 PM but customers were waiting outside by 11:30 AM, and since the team was ready, the people were welcomed in. The flow never stopped all day. We had 238 people actually register but I know some people skipped the registration area to come on in. If you did take the time to register, your name went in a drawing for one of the baskets that was woven by the visiting basket maker, Mark A. Peterson. A
total of 6 were given away.


The Mt. Hood Ballroom held 11 of the 12 display areas plus the cash an carry. Display areas included Longaberger Pottery America's Favorite, Collectors Club, Horizon of Hope, Organization/Sort & Store, Team Spirit, Gift Giving, Longaberger Through the Years, Wrap It Up With Bonus Buys, Holiday, To Go Series, Sponsoring and Cookie Exchange. The display areas were set up by a variety of home consultants, team & Branch Leaders from Oregon and Washington.

Cash and Carry products brought to Portland by the Longaberger Company just flew off the shelves. Some of the "hot" items were the American Pride Basket & Protector signed by Tami Longaberger, Holiday Helper Set, Red Snowflake Cookie Basket Set signed by Gary & Lynn Longaberger and the list goes on! By the end of the event, only a few jumbo mugs and Seahawk small berry baskets were left to pack up.
